Dialogue between religions and their adherents is actually the “Art of Living Together”. Although religions and faiths have many common aspects and just a few small differences, inter-religion conflicts at times could be the main cause of animosity and hatred. Our view is that when there exist hundreds of common bridges among different faiths, why stress and focus on just a few differences?

Ours is a perpetually changing world, one that has been fraught with conflict that is based more often than not on misunderstanding. Today, one of the main challenges facing the global community is to assess and renew the role of different human traditions in a spirit of harmony. Dialogue is the proven way of uncovering and honoring the truly sacred in all cultures, which would lead to tolerance and peace. We aim to promote dialogue between different belief systems, establish a platform for future activities for further improvement of understanding especially during these sensitive times.

Divan wants to contribute to this ultimate aim by means of conferences, projects, scholarships, publications, and many other activities in conformity with scientific methods and universal democratic values.
